Embrace Your Journey: The Power of Intention and Process

Chapter 1: The Essence of Trusting the Process
In life, there are many uncertainties, yet numerous vital questions can find answers if we allow ourselves the space to discover them. This involves the courage to engage deeply with our inquiries, to listen to our thoughts, and to be attuned to the feelings that arise within us. What insights are coming your way? How do they resonate within you? What unexpected words or phrases surface? The true strength lies in our commitment to remain in the process until clarity emerges. ~Lucky Sweeny and Bonnie Kelley, cofounders of Evolutionary Women. This excerpt is drawn from their work, Maximum Flux.
We've reached a significant milestone!
The writing prompts commenced on November 1, and for the past 15 weeks, we've immersed ourselves in creative self-expression through the concept of "Flip the Script."
A key takeaway from the quote is: "The true strength lies in our commitment to remain in the process until clarity emerges." Maintaining your focus and viewing it as a journey serves as a guiding principle for what lies ahead and what you are destined to create and express in 2024.
What is your method for maintaining your intention throughout the year?
For me, I like to select a central WORD accompanied by three supportive words.
For 2024, my primary word is BUILD, with supporting terms being Create, Innovate, and Expand. Here’s how I define them:
- BUILD: Establish a framework in both my personal and professional life that aligns with my mission, including self-care.
- Create: To infuse new life into concepts using imagination.
- Innovate: To introduce changes to established practices, embracing fresh ideas and approaches.
- Expand: To articulate thoughts in a detailed, generous, and optimistic manner.
- How do you plan to set your intentions for the year?
- What metrics will you use to gauge your progress?
- How have you arranged for support?
Jay Shetty employs a system he refers to as 1–4–3–1:
- Big Goal for the Year: This could be something like enhancing physical activity by aiming for 10,000 steps daily using an app or launching a business by organizing necessary documentation and taking that first step.
- Break the goal into seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall.
- There are three months in each season: Twelve months in a year, divided into four seasons.
- Celebrate a victory each week.
Jay also emphasizes that each year should focus on a specific purpose:
- Learning
- Experimenting
- Performing
- Thriving
Additionally, we need three types of support for our journey:
- Cheerleaders
- Challengers
- Check-ins
As we approached the conclusion of our Incubator session, we turned our focus to celebrating both significant and small achievements. We reflected on the intentions we had set and contemplated the support necessary to sustain our momentum.
Tomorrow, I will begin sharing insights regarding the Barbie film and Jim Taylor's extensive post. I plan to spotlight this over the next five days as it serves as an illustration of transformative social justice and flipping the script. My goal is to illuminate what has been revealed and how it relates to broader efforts aimed at changing the system.
Day 100 Prompts:
- Take a moment to celebrate your intentions and progress since the Incubator began in October 2024.
- Reflect on the insights you have gathered.
- Where do you sense these messages in your body?
- Contemplate your current position in this process.

Chapter 2: Transformative Insights
In the following video, we explore how to shift negative thinking patterns through guided meditation. This practice can help clear mental blocks and foster a more positive mindset.
Next, we delve into the Flip The Script Podcast, where we discuss the necessity of stepping away to gain new perspectives. This episode highlights the importance of change for personal growth.
