Embrace Your Worthiness: The Power of Love and Feelings

Chapter 1: The Journey to Worthiness

In a world filled with strangers, there exists someone who carries a poem of mine etched on their heart. They shared a photo with me, reminding me of the deep connection we share. This poem emerged during one of the toughest chapters of my life, following my divorce. It serves as a reminder that when it comes to recognizing your own worth, your primary task is straightforward: keep your heart beating and allow yourself to feel everything.

Healing is fundamentally about allowing love to cleanse the barriers that obscure your sense of worthiness. It unfolds naturally when love meets your vulnerability—your emotions. Thus, the route to rediscovering your worth lies in genuinely experiencing your feelings.

(I know, it sounds daunting. 😱)

Your heart is designed to feel deeply and can endure intense emotions—grief, rage, shame, and even compassion. It’s essential to recognize that your heart can only process these feelings when surrounded by love—be it divine love, self-love, or the affection of others. Just as a flower thrives in sunlight, your heart flourishes in love.

Many struggle to confront their emotions because they lack environments rich in unconditional love, which is vital for safely processing intense feelings. In such a love-scarce environment, it’s tempting to suppress emotions, thinking, "If I just keep busy, these feelings will fade."

But we both know that doesn’t work.

Alternatively, you might find yourself trapped in a cycle of analysis, believing that by pinpointing the cause of your emotions, you can eliminate them without truly feeling them. Smart strategy, but ultimately ineffective. Understanding your feelings doesn’t replace the need to experience them.

Perhaps you, like me, oscillate between these two approaches endlessly. Let's cut through the confusion today. Your mind, while intelligent, won’t lead you to greater feelings of worthiness. Instead, your heart is the gateway to love’s voice.

To feel more worthy, you must connect with your heart, which necessitates engaging with your emotions. Focus on these two fundamental principles: keep your heart open and allow love to accompany you through your feelings.

There’s truly nothing else required to enhance your sense of worth. This is the essence of the process. (It’s straightforward, but straightforward doesn’t always mean easy.)

The simplicity lies in the fact that love will handle the complex work for you. Imagine yourself on the operating table while love performs heart surgery. All you need to do is trust love to do its job.

Stop attempting to conduct your own heart surgery through endless analysis. Avoid evading your feelings. Instead, relax, feel, and let love weave its magic.

If your mind is skeptical, thinking, "This can’t be the answer. It can’t be that simple," I understand. Challenge yourself to try this approach for 30 days. I believe you’ll be amazed by how much better you feel by the end.
