Exploring the Impact of Daily Article Publishing on Readership

Chapter 1: Overview of the Experiment
In this second installment of my "This is an Experiment" series, I'm diving deeper into the results of my hypothesis: that publishing more articles in a single day will lead to increased reads and views.
To provide a brief overview, I've set out to publish three articles today. The first article went live at 10 AM MST, followed by the second right after. The last article is scheduled for 2 PM MST. Below is a screenshot showcasing my reads and views at 7:04 AM, right after the first article was published.
In the initial article, I discussed my motivations for conducting this experiment and the metrics I aimed to analyze. In this follow-up piece, I will outline my expectations and what I hope to uncover.
Section 1.1: Expectations and Future Experiments
I am optimistic that my hypothesis will hold true: that increasing content output throughout the day will boost my readership. Additionally, I envision conducting more experiments down the line. Here are some variables I could explore further:
- Publishing three articles on varied subjects.
- Submitting articles to different publications.
- Creating a series of articles focused on a single theme (without breaking the fourth wall).
- Increasing the count to four articles instead of three.
- Adjusting the timing of article releases to see any differences in engagement.
- Testing the impact of shifting the publish time of the middle article.
- Running multiple series over several days.
I firmly believe that experimentation is crucial for achieving success, whether you're launching a business, trying to increase your income on Medium, or pursuing personal goals like weight loss. Engaging in small-scale experiments like this one can provide valuable insights and can be quite enjoyable.
The first video, "Saturday Science Experiment - Part 2," delves into various experimental techniques and their significance in understanding data better. It complements the theme of my experiment by emphasizing the importance of hypothesis testing in gaining insights.
Until we meet again for the third article,

The second video, "Experiment 2: Scientist talking part 2," offers valuable insights from seasoned researchers about the nature of experimentation and how it can influence outcomes.
