Chapter 1: Embracing the Writing Journey

As of today, June 16 in Manila, I have completed 41 articles with two weeks remaining in the month. I’m excited about what lies ahead.

At this point, I've already surpassed my previous month's output, and this piece marks my 42nd article. Writing this volume of content has become less daunting for me over time. Although I faced challenges, I managed to carve out time to write, as it has now become a vital part of my daily routine.

Writing feels as essential to me as water is to life. As I advance in my writing journey, the process of researching and recalling personal anecdotes has become more intuitive.

During my continuous writing streak this month, I initially worried about crafting engaging content. Fortunately, I navigated through those concerns and learned to produce more pieces under my name and my fledgling publication.

Initially, I was skeptical about gaining readership on Medium and questioned how the platform would reward me without a substantial following. However, I am grateful for the success of my self-published articles; they have thrived and been widely shared, reaffirming that the platform champions individual creators.

Self-publishing offers me the liberty to write freely whenever and on whatever I wish, and I am thrilled to see the positive outcomes from my articles.

Chapter 2: Evaluating Performance Through Quantity and Quality

Assessing my performance is essential, and I recognize that quantity must be paired with quality. For June 2022, my goal is to reach $300, and I am already more than halfway there—consistency is key.

I owe part of my current earnings to my earlier articles. The advantage of producing quality content is evident. It’s similar to a store with a variety of goods—readers are more inclined to explore what interests them.

What’s my ultimate objective? I aim to reach $500 in earnings this year. I draw inspiration from fellow writers who continuously exceed their targets, making their success a tangible reality.

From earning just $15 in February 2022, I can now see the potential for growth. If I maintain my current pace, I could produce 60 stories this month; we’ll see how it unfolds.

In the upcoming months, I anticipate a busy schedule as my consultancy gains new clients, which will require my attention. I hope to remain committed to making this platform a viable source of income.
