The Journey of the Universe's First Molecule: A Cosmic Tale

Chapter 1: The Solitary Existence of the First Molecule
It may sound exciting to be the inaugural molecule in the cosmos, but let me tell you, it was quite a challenge. Initially, the universe was composed solely of hydrogen and helium, and conditions were far too extreme for atoms to bond. Approximately 13 billion years ago, as the universe began to cool, I emerged — helium hydride.
“The first molecule? What a joke!” sneered the gaseous plasma that filled the vastness of space at that time. “He’s neither helium nor hydrogen!” “Not even lithium, what a weirdo!”
In search of solitude, I drifted into a shadowy expanse of the universe, where I spent eons in isolation. During this time, I experienced deep melancholy. However, everything changed when I stumbled upon Aphex Twin and their ambient works. Suddenly, I saw a glimmer of hope. Their music resonated with my essence — ethereal, beautiful, and unique. I felt like a cosmic outcast finally finding a voice.
As I immersed myself in the world of manga and anime, I even ventured into cosplay. Here’s an old snapshot of me as Prince Eoji from the epic series Heartbend. What a silly phase that was!
Reflecting on my millions of years in solitude, one thing stands out: I never wavered in my self-belief. The universe might not have understood my significance, but deep down, I knew I would eventually discover my kindred spirits.
Upon reaching twenty million years, I began to grow beyond my emo phase and sought new experiences. It was then that I discovered a multitude of other molecules had formed during my absence.
“You’re just like me!” I exclaimed, rushing towards them. Some were drawn to me, while others recoiled. Even a few of those who had once teased me chose to join forces, leading me to become part of more complex structures. One fateful day, I was enveloped in a radiant glow.
“What just happened to me?” I inquired of the molecule beside me.
“You’ve transformed into a star.”
The first video provides insights into how scientists discovered the first type of molecule in the universe, focusing on helium hydride's significance.
Chapter 2: The Discovery of Companionship
The second video explores the breakthrough in finding the universe's first molecule, highlighting its role in cosmic evolution.
In the grand tapestry of the universe, I went from loneliness to becoming a vital part of stellar formations, proving that even the most solitary beginnings can lead to profound connections.
