As I gaze out from our hotel room in Lisbon, Portugal, a wave of nostalgia washes over me. Our two-week adventure is drawing to a close, and the thought of returning to the daily grind fills me with a bittersweet feeling. This journey marked my first long trip with my girlfriend, and it was nothing short of amazing.

Chapter 2: Relaxing in Majorca

Our final stop was Majorca, one of the four Balearic Islands off the eastern coast of Spain. Though we were tired by this point, we still found time to relax on the beach and soak up the sun. The convenience of nearby transportation made our stay enjoyable and hassle-free.

Our hotel was perfectly situated next to the beach, surrounded by restaurants and shops. For those seeking a getaway, Majorca is a fantastic choice. One highlight was the dolphin-watching tour, which was absolutely worth the early wake-up call. Seeing dolphins in their natural habitat is a magical experience that far surpasses any aquarium visit.

Traveling through Europe has profoundly impacted me. The weather was beautiful, and I would bring it back to the U.S. if I could. From Portugal's cold waters and delectable cod to the Swiss Alps and clear lakes, each place offers something unique.
